Christmas Cookies

Cream:
	115 g margarine
	145g granulated sugar
	
Beat in:
	1 egg
	1 1/2 cuillre ˆ cafŽ vanilla
	
Combine and then add to the mixture:
	190g flour
	1 cuillre ˆ cafŽ baking powder (levure chimique)
	1/4 cuillère ˆ cafŽ salt

Chill for at least one hour. Roll out dough on a floured cloth or table.

Cut into shapes. Place on greased cookie sheets. Decorate with colored sugar.

Bake at 180¡ C for 7-8 minutes, until lightly browned.

original quantities:

	1/2 C. margarine
	3/4 C. granulated sugar
	1 egg
	1 1/2 t. vanilla
	1 1/2 C. flour
	1 t. baking powder (levure chimique)
	1/4 t. salt
