1 chicken fryer (2-3 lb.), cut up
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup sauce soja
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 bay leaf
ground pepper

Place chicken and the rest of ingredients in a 4-quart saucepan, and mix well.

Cook over high heat until liquid boils; lower heat.

Cover and let simmer until chicken is tender, about 30 min.

Turn meat once or twie while simmering.

If more sauce is needed, add a little more soy sauce and vingegar.

Serve with rice.
